Steven E. Martin and his wife, Eviana J. Martin, co-founded the Martin Law Firm. Together, with the help of their team of dedicated attorneys and staff, they have represented thousands of individuals in their legal matters. Steven is a trial attorney with a practice that focuses on plaintiff’s personal injury, family law and estate planning. Steven is admitted to practice in the state of Florida, Tennessee and in the Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida.

A dynamic business entrepreneur himself, Steven has extensive experience with both start-up companies and well-established firms in the technology and entertainment industries. Steven is a limited partner at Visionary Ventures a pharmaceuticals and life science venture capital fund co-founded by his brother Dr. Farrell C. Tyson, II. While in college, Steven worked for Sony Music Entertainment as a local marketing representative. Also, while in college, Steven founded MegaDVD.com, an online DVD retailer in the very early days of e-commerce in the mid 1990s. Having built this successful enterprise, he sold MegaDVD to the eUniverse Network, also known as Intermix Media, the company that created the popular internet website MySpace. As Director of Business Development for eUniverse, Steven helped pioneer many other successful direct marketing techniques for the company generating millions of dollars in revenues and thousands of satisfied customers. Prior to attending law school, Steven worked as a Manager Trainee at Artists Management Group, a talent management firm founded by renowned Silicon Valley venture capitalist, former Hollywood talent agent and former president of the Walt Disney Company, Michael S. Ovitz, in Beverly Hills, California.

Steven was born in Tampa, Florida where his father served as a Colonel in the United States Air Force at MacDill Air Force Base. Steven received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business. Transitioning from the boardroom to the courtroom, Steven received his juris doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Steven served as a legal clerk for the Honorable Judge William T. McIver and for the Staff Attorney’s Office of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida. Steven is a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity.

His passion for community service began at an early age as he spent several summers as a medical missionary with his family in remote areas of China, Honduras, Kenya and Mexico. Steven is an Eagle Scout and has strong ties to the Southwest Florida area where his family founded and operates the Cape Coral Eye Center. Currently, Steven and his wife, Eviana, are working together to establish Cash4Teachers.com a non-profit entity with the purpose of reimbursing classroom teachers for their out of pocket expenses paid on behalf of their students. Steven also volunteers as a cook at the local soup kitchen, Community Cooperative Ministries, Inc. in Fort Myers, Florida. Steven and his wife Eviana have committed their firm to provide thousands of dollars of pro-bono bankruptcy services to qualified individuals in Lee and Collier County. Steven is the attorney for Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida, Inc. where he provides pro-bono legal services.

Steven has served as a member of the Republican Executive Committee of Lee County, Florida. Steven was an early supporter of Donald J. Trump in Southwest Florida during the 2016 Florida Republican Presidential Primary campaign providing logistical support including office space as well as providing leadership to the local volunteer organization in pre-primary campaign efforts. After the Republican Primary, Steven served as the Lee County Co-Chair of the Donald Trump for President organization during the 2016 Presidential campaign. Steven is the founding President of the Trump Republican Club of Lee County Florida.

In the legal community, Steven has served in all executive offices of the Cape Coral Bar Association, including President of the organization. Steven served as a member of the Florida Bar’s Judicial Administration and Evaluation Committee for two years. Steven is currently a member of the Lee County Bar Association, the Collier County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. In 2021 Steven was appointed by the Florida Bar Board of Governors to serve a four year term as a Commissioner with the Florida Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims. In 2021, Steven was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to serve a four year term as a Commissioner with the Judicial Nominating Commission of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida where he current serves as Vice Chair of the Commission.
